Mission Statement

At Valour Fencing Club, our mission is to make fencing accessible, inclusive, and

empowering for athletes of all backgrounds. We foster a competitive yet welcoming

environment where individuals can develop their skills, discipline, and confidence through

the sport of fencing.

Vision Statement

To build a strong, diverse fencing community that inspires excellence, inclusivity, and a

lifelong passion for the sport. Our goal is to establish Valour Fencing as a leading club that

nurtures future champions while promoting respect, integrity, and camaraderie.

  • Valour Fencing Club is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment

    for all athletes, coaches, and community members. We do not tolerate discrimination,

    harassment, or exclusion based on race, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability,

    religion, or socio-economic background.

    • All individuals are welcome regardless of experience level or background.

    • We actively promote diversity and equity within our programs.

    • Any concerns about discrimination or harassment should be reported to

  • To ensure a positive training environment, all members of Valour Fencing Club are expected

    to:

    • Treat coaches, fellow athletes, and staff with respect and sportsmanship.

    • Refrain from any form of harassment, bullying, or discrimination.

    • Follow safety guidelines for fencing equipment and training.

    • Maintain honesty and integrity in competition and practice.

    • Comply with club and facility rules at all times.

    Failure to follow the Code of Conduct may result in warnings, suspension, or removal from

    the club.

  • • Valour Fencing Club supports all athletes in participating based on their gender identity.

    • We respect preferred pronouns and names.

    • Gender-inclusive spaces are available, and we accommodate needs for all athletes.

  • • Zero tolerance for any form of abuse, harassment, or misconduct.

    • Coaches and staff adhere to ethical coaching standards and mandatory reporting of

    misconduct.

    • Open communication is encouraged for athletes to report any safety or well-being

    concerns.

  • • Any personal information collected by Valour Fencing (e.g., registration details, payment

    info) is kept confidential and secure.

    • We do not share personal data without consent, except as required by law.

    • Parents/guardians must provide consent for minors’ participation.

  • • Payments for classes, camps, and events are non-refundable unless cancellation occurs

    due to extenuating circumstances.

    • If Valour Fencing cancels a session, participants will receive a full refund or credit.
